Modernising and expanding the reach of the Monsoon Consulting brand and marketing material
As a busy consulting company, we often have little time to work on our internal projects, marketing, and brand. As a result, we found ourselves with a website that was slowly becoming outdated, as well as a massive hole in our marketing and sales channel (which Covid-19 dramatically exposed). Recognising these issues we decided to take a phased approach to our website updates.
Following internal discussions, we prioritised what we saw as the larger issues, and began to make incremental changes bringing better consistency throughout the site. At this same time, we began to leverage landing pages to help promote the company services and brand in partnership with PPC and linkedin campaigns.
Combined with a consistent social media plan with two posts a week and the creation of new content in the form of blog posts we began to expand our brands reach, engaging with new communities and recieving new and exciting sale leads and clients.
As discussed we decided to take a phased approach to our companies site. Starting with updates to our homepage header, we then moved on to a new menu design, simplifying the colour palette and reducing the use of our Monsoon green so that it can be moved eye catching and engaging when used.
The expertise section of our site has been given a massive overhaul, previously the section featured a plethora of sub pages that would lead the user to an ultimate dead end with no clear or easy way to return. Some of the content on this page had become outdated, and no longer served its purpose from a sales and marketing perspective. As such, we broke the content up into more relevant sub sections, all of which is housed on one single page, with sub pages to come only as needed.
As a company we adopted a new approach to our marketing plan focusing on Linkedin and PPC campaigns to help promote our services, as well as expand our brands reach. As part of this I assisted in the designing, setup, and management of the adverts for the Linkedin campaigns.
To go with these I have also designed a templated landing page that can be reused and edited for each campaign we run. As part of this I also help to create and write the content for each page, as well as to setup and manage these as needed.
As a smaller part of our marketing efforts I have created templates for our social media posts such as the consistently used stat post. I have also aided in the creation, writing, editing, and promotion of content pieces such as webinars, blogs, infographics etc.
